Advances in Glioma Research – Open Seminar with Prof. Bożena Kamińska

Prof. Bożena Kamińska – a molecular biologist and neurobiologist, pioneer in studying how brain tumors interact with the local immune system – was the guest of our Open Seminar organized within the WELCOME2 ERA Chair project. Her groundbreaking research has contributed to the development of advanced glioma therapies and may serve as a foundation for new, more effective treatment strategies.

Seminar title: Dissecting brain tumor microenvironment at a single-cell resolution reveals new targets and immune biomarkers

During the lecture, Prof. Kamińska presented the latest findings on the mechanisms of glioma development and emerging therapeutic approaches, emphasizing the complexity of interactions between tumors and their microenvironment. The talk sparked great interest among participants, who actively engaged in discussion and highlighted how inspiring and thought-provoking the presentation was.

It was a true honor to host such an accomplished researcher as part of our Open Seminar series. We sincerely thank all participants for their insightful questions and engagement, which made this meeting even more inspiring.

We encourage everyone to watch the video recording of the lecture.
