WELCOME2 at the Science for Society Congress

On 3-5 June, we participated in the ‘Science for Society’ Congress, held in the space of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The programme of the three-day event included popular science lectures and panel discussions, all accompanied by stands where scientific units could present their research areas and major achievements.

The WELCOME2 project was represented by Dr. Marianna Raczyk, who introduced the audience to epigenetics, the impact of diet on gene expression and chances of developing diet-related diseases, such as type II diabetes, obesity or cardiovascular diseases.
